Requirement

The Murray-woods initially planned to extend their property but planning was refused. They resubmitted with plans for an Annexe Spaces studio in the garden, which was accepted. We subsequently installed this bespoke compact annexe, as seen here.

I would like to take this opportunity to say what a wonderful job has been done. I cannot speak highly enough of the installation team. They have worked extremely hard, and on some days in very difficult weather conditions and without complaint. They have been attentive to every detail and every task has been tackled with the utmost care and precision. The project ran so smoothly that I had no worries or concerns at all. The garden room and shower room have far exceeded my expectations on both the quality of the finish, the brilliant workmanship and the unbelievably short time the build took. The building, both inside and out, and the site around it, were left in a very clean and tidy condition - in fact, you wouldn't have known that building work had been taking place! The whole job has been faultless and it was a pleasure to have the building team around.

Summary

External finish: White Silicone k-render to front, right & Left elevations. The rear elevation is clad with particle board and painted in dark grey weather shield paint to match the frames.

Ensuite: Consisting of a Compact sink & toilet (in vanity units), shower tray (1200mm x 900mm), Shower Curtain Rail, 3 x tiled walls, thermostatic electric shower & extractor, and heated towel rail.

Glazing: French doors (1.8m wide x 2.05m high) throw light into the the main living area with a long high top opening window o the rear elevation.

Windows and door frames: uPVC double glazing (anthracite grey) with high security 5-point locking to doors, key operated locks to windows.

Laminate flooring: Our laminate is affordable and durable yet truly aesthetic with the oak effect finish and 4 sided v groove. It is guaranteed for 25-years.

Electrics: 8 internal dimmable LED down-lights, 3 external LED lights, and 6 double power sockets (all in brushed metal finish), all Part P certified.
